From the onset, 1 Million was described as a fresh and sensual blend of notes, with glittery shine of gold, for which creator Paco Rabanne aptly says,

The perfume was inspired by Paco Rabanne‘s metallic fashion and created in cooperation with three famous noses for perfumes, namely, Christophe Raynaud, Olivier Pescheux and Michel Girard.
They had concocted a heady mix of masculinity from the notes of sparkling grapefruit, red orange, mint, rose, cinnamon, spices, blond leather, blond wood, patchouli and amber.
This high-impact fragrance creates a multi-facetted signature of masculinity. The freshness of grapefruit invites you into this audacious scent, combining in the top notes with mint and blood mandarin. Striking and assertive middle notes follow with a refined yet virile combination of rose, cinnamon, and spicy notes. The base notes evoke the ultimate velvety harmony of leather, white wood, amber and Indonesian patchouli essences.
